Pricing questions
Is Pro a subscription?
No. Pro is a single payment of $19. You get a license key that you can activate on up to 3 of your browsers or computers, with no renewal.
Does Pro work without an internet connection?
Yes, after you activate it. Activating contacts our license server once (the key and a device label are sent, never your statements) and the confirmation is saved in your browser. Converting never touches the network. Roughly once a month, opening the activation page re-checks the license, and Pro keeps working if you are offline at that moment.
Can the free page limit be avoided?
The 20-page daily allowance is counted in your browser, so a determined person can reset it. It is a convenience limit, not a lock. If Plainsum saves you time, Pro is the way to support it and to get unlimited pages, merging and the accounting formats.
What counts as a page?
Each page of a PDF that Plainsum reads. A 3-page statement uses 3 of the day's pages. A scanned file that is rejected uses none.
How do I get my key?
Right after checkout, Creem sends a receipt email with your license key, and you can also find it on your Creem order page. Open the activation page, paste the key and press Activate. Keep the email: clearing your browser data removes the saved activation, and you can activate again with the same key.
What formats does Pro export?
QBO (QuickBooks Web Connect), OFX 1.02 and QIF. These are the files that QuickBooks, Quicken, Xero-style importers and budgeting tools open as a bank download. Import behaviour differs by product and country, so try a small file first.
Does Pro work on several computers?
Yes. One key can be active on 3 browsers or computers. To move Pro to a new machine, press Deactivate on the activation page of the old one, or email support. Please do not share your key.
